Albums

Toto's discography comprises 13 studio albums and 4 live albums. There are also a few compilations. Toto has released original music and collaborated with other artists on soundtracks and films. Toto has won numerous Grammy Awards.

Before the formation of Toto the band, members performed sessions for other musicians. David Paich, the son of drummer Marty Paich, and Jeff Porcaro (the brother of guitarist Joe Porcaro and drummer Jeff Porcaro) all played on Boz Scaggs’ 1975 album Silk Degrees. The group's collaboration led to formation of Toto in the year 1976.

In 1998, Toto celebrated its 20th anniversary by re-discovering old tapes and demos to release a special edition called Toto XX. The album was well-loved by fans and the band embarked upon an extensive tour with former members Bobby Kimball Steve Porcaro and Joseph Williams.

Shem von Schröck replaced Leland Sklar as drummer during the tour in support of the 40 Trips Around the Sun album. In 2017, Toto released the double-CD set Falling in Between. It included tour recordings as well as an interview with the group.
