The fridge compartment is 18.5 cubic feet of space, which is roughly on what you would expect from a French door refrigerator that costs this much. It comes with a decent size icemaker in the left door. But it's not the most spacious one I've seen.

You can adjust the shelves in both compartments to make the perfect storage solution. The interior design of the GE PYE22PYNFS is also attractive. The LED lighting is a nice accent. The bins for storage inside come with a third shelf that can be folded down to store tall items. The drawers come with temperature controls that let you set them to Meat, Beverage or Deli settings. They're easy to open and close, although I found their textured plastic coatings to be a little rough on the fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator comes with all the features you would expect from a refrigerator in this price range. This includes Wi-Fi as well as app support and GE's SmartHQ Software. The app, which is available for iOS and Android devices allows you to control your refrigerator from anywhere in the world, and it has a ton of customization options. It will also send you notifications when the door is left unlocked as well as when the fridge or freezer requires defrosting, and when the filter requires a change.

It would be nice to have GE PYE22PYNFS offered Precise fill the option that is that is available in a few GE refrigerators that allows users to select the number of cups they would like to dispense. This refrigerator is ideal for a single household or a kitchenette with an elegant design and top of the best food preservation.

This fridge was the top-rated refrigerator in our Refrigerators test for several reasons. Its freezer temperatures held firm at a level that was just above 0 degrees Fahrenheit, and never fluctuating more than a fraction of an inch. This is essential in preventing freezer burn. The fridge section of the fridge also did well. It reached the initial temperature within an hour, and remained at the temperature throughout our tests.

The LG LRFLC2706S counter-depth refrigerator is a great option for those who require a lot of space in the space of a compact frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. Inside, the refrigerator has the standard French-door layout, with gallon-sized bins for the doors on each door, two rows of shelves for spill-capture, and a set of crisper drawers. The top shelf to the right can be folded down to make space for taller items. There's also a full-width drawer to store food items and an internal water dispenser.

One of the great features of this refrigerator is that the ice maker is inside the freezer, making it easy to transfer ice into the fridge to be used when it is required. The freezer has thoughtful design elements, too, like sliding drawers that can help you better organize the position of your items. It also has a huge bin that can accommodate plenty of frozen food items and a separate container for storing ice.

Smart InstaView panel is a cool feature of the refrigerator. You can control the temperature, lighting and other aspects of your fridge using your smartphone. It's a nice way to control and monitor your refrigerator, particularly if you're away from home.

The Smart InstaView feature is neat, but it doesn't necessarily improve the performance of the fridge. In fact, it took longer to defrost and chill foods in this refrigerator than some of the others we test. This is likely due to the bigger capacity.

Another issue with this refrigerator is its doors. The sunken handles allow smaller people to open them from the bottom. However, taller people still have a hard time closing them without slamming them. It would have been much better if they had front-mounted handles.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is an excellent option for those looking to blend the look of a French Door Fridge Costco door refrigerator with an efficient design. Its capacity is superior to counter-depth models, and it cools evenly. It's also less expensive than the top counter-depth refrigerators that have an ice maker, which can make it a desirable choice.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

If you're looking for a French door fridge that doesn't cost a fortune and isn't expensive, this Frigidaire is a good choice. It's a basic fridge that might not be as appealing like some of its competitors however it has enough features to make a an excellent option. Its most notable feature is the temperature adjustable drawer, helps to keep food like meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also comes with a huge water and ice maker dispenser.

The "Chill Drawer", which sits over the two crisper bins, is another nice feature. This drawer lets you divert a portion of the refrigerator's cooling power directly to this area, which means you can store foods that need extra attention. You can adjust this feature by using a slider that's located right outside of the drawer. You can also use this to adjust the general cooling settings for the entire fridge however, I've found that changing the generic settings tends to have a better effect than specific ones.

In my tests, I found that the temperatures in the refrigerator were fairly consistent in various parts of the fridge. The temperatures in the middle, top and bottom of the fridge didn't differ much from 38 degrees. This is a good performance, but it doesn't quite make it to the top of our ratings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also connect this fridge to a smart thermometer for more precise measurements of your fridge's temperature.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made from grey-bodied stainless with a "smudge proof" finish. It does a great job of removing streaks and fingerprints even when compared to the glossy stainless steel finishes on other appliances I've tested.
