Megyn Kelly slams Taylor Swift for attending comedy night for Gaza

Podcaster Megyn Kelly on Tuesday condemned Taylor Swift for attending a comedy night in Brooklyn, whose proceeds were sent to a charity working in Gaza. Kelly said Swift, 33, needed to educate herself about Hamas or else shut up, declaring: 'You clearly know nothing.' The former Fox host mocked the singer for Áo khoác da nữ dáng ngắn supporting the LGBTQ community and women's rights, and also backing the Gaza charity. 'You know what they do to that community in Gaza, Taylor, that you now want to support?' asked Kelly.

'You know what Hamas likes to do to women? You think we have equal rights over there, Taylor?' Swift on Friday attended a Ramy Youssef show at the Brooklyn Academy of Music with friends including Selena Gomez, Cara Delevingne and Zoe Kravitz. The comedian - who has been vocal about calling for a ceasefire in the Middle East - said the charity works to 'provide humanitarian relief to the people of Gaza.'  But Kelly ridiculed the charity.  Citing NGO Monitor Áo khoác dạ nữ Hàn Quốc - a group founded by an Israeli professor to counter anti-Israel narratives - Kelly said that ANERA was 'highly political, Áo khoác dạ nữ Hàn Quốc presenting a highly biased view of the Israel/Palestine war, ignoring any Palestinian responsibility for hardship, and Áo dạ nữ dáng dài Hàn Quốc contributing to the demonization of Israel.' Kelly continued: 'That is the group Taylor Swift thought it might be fun to help raise money for, attend a fundraiser for, and she owes Israelis and Jewish Americans an apology.  'And I hope they boycott her events until she issues it because attending this thing was wrong.

It was wrong.' Swift and her team are yet to address the controversy.  But Gigi Hadid, a friend of Swift's whose father is Palestinian, commented on Youssef's post: 'Legend.' Ramy Youssef posted on Instagram, telling his followers that the proceeds of his shows would be going to humanitarian relief in Gaza. The charity says it has 'has no political or religious affiliation.'  Taylor Swift has kept silent on the unfolding war between Israel and terrorist group Hamas - who murdered and kidnapped hundreds of Israelis on October 7. In the weeks following, thousands of people have been killed in Gaza.
